Birthday: What's the big deal?
Someone is getting older and older — day by day and year by year, but still feeling great today!
Today is 11 April 2020
And guess what?
It’s my 27th birthday!
Generally, I say, what’s the big deal?
Out of 27 birthdays, hardly 4 to 5 has actually celebrated. So, yeah what’s the special this year?
I am very happy & excited, not only because of it’s my birthday but also, I have a big news to share!
This covid19 pandemic situation is really scary and depressing! I can’t even celebrate my birthday with family and friends but any ways, I’ve found other ways to celebrate my day!
First time ever, I’ve tried to make Kheer at home and just look how it turned out! It seems like cooked by Master Chef.
Usually I travel back to India on my birthday and celebrate with my family but this time it’s not possible.
Staying away from family, friends and home country, is tough. It’s always been tough for me and it feels bad specially on such occasions, but now I am getting used to it.
I have already missed many occasions where I supposed to be there, but I wasn’t. I must admit it. Any ways, whenever I go back to India, we celebrate together a lot.
I really miss my family!
Connecting dots...
I have been home quarantined since last 20 days and God knows how many days we have to stay at home.
Personally, I do not like work from home concept but at this time of crisis, work from home is the only way to survive. Work from home is tough. It’s really tough — at least for me and I am sure many of you feels the same.
Nevertheless,
Sitting alone at my apartment in Norway thinking about last 27 years! it’s been a roller coaster ride. I tried to rewind moments from last 27 years and try to connect those dots.

This is the only picture I have from my childhood. It was from my cousin’s engagement ceremony.
